“Shame on you” – KSM slams Rev Ntim Fordjour

News“Shame on you” – KSM slams Rev Ntim Fordjour

Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM), the host of KSM Show, has fired shots at Rev John Ntim Fordjour, the Member of Parliament for Assin South, over his remarks inciting violence in the Akwatia by-election.

According to Ntim Fordjour, if John Mahama continue his inaction in bringing the perpetrators to book, there will be bloodshed in Akwatia and future elections.

Speaking in an interview, Ntim Fordjour stated, “It’s not a strong signal, but if the president wants to continue his inaction in bringing the perpetrators to book, arresting them and prosecuting them, there’s going to be bloodshed in Akwatia and future elections. We don’t want bloodshed in future elections. Democracy cannot be traded for violence.

We don’t want a time where you put ballot boxes at polling stations and nobody will come out to vote because they fear being killed by political vigilantes”.

He added, “That is what the NDC is doing. It’s a dangerous trend, a national security threat that must be rooted out, and the president must show commitment. So far, he has demonstrated he doesn’t care”

“The minister has given his word that those engaged in the acts are going to be prosecuted. We heard yesterday that two people have been arrested.

Two people? Out of how many? Over a hundred government-sponsored thugs were sent to exert mayhem, and you arrest two, and then we should clap for you? It’s shameful and disappointing”, he fumed.

Kwaku Sintim-Misa, reacting to Rev Ntim Fordjour’s comments, called him an ultimate charlatan.

KSM quizzed how an ordained man of God could be saying those things.

Speaking on an edition of his show, KSM fumed, “… I want to start with the ultimate charlatan. I think his name is Reverend Fordjour. Reverend Fordjour, shame on you. I’m looking at you eyeball to eyeball. Let me say that you don’t deserve the title reverend. Shame on you! Why am I saying all of this? How can a reverend, supposedly someone who has been ordained as a man of God, ordained to preach the love of Christ, tell us such things? You say, ‘I am a pastor, I’m born again, I preach the love of Christ.’

How in the world can somebody who is an ordained reverend, Rev Fordjour, open your mouth and say something like ‘If Mahama doesn’t address the issue at Ablekuma North, there is going to be bloodshed in Akwatia?” he quizzed.

He added, “… I’m sure you’ll be at Akwatia with your wife and your children. You’re going to rally all of them and take them to Akwatia and let them join whatever gangs that you plan to send to Akwatia. Tell your wife and children we are going to have bloodshed today. It’s very sad and painful when intelligent people, plenty of whom are NPP, are trying to (sic) spell doom ahead of the by-election.

“When do we move past this partisan nonsense, when do we build our nation. Other people are focused, and developing their countries. So, let’s build a nation, move beyond this partisan crap. When people are thinking about progressive things, then a reverend opens his damned mouth and talks about bloodshed in Akwatia if the president doesn’t do something”.

KSM further conveyed his shock, asking if the Ntim Fordjour meant those remarks, demanding that he renounce his title as a reverend, “Are you serious? If you’re serious, then I want you to have a press conference and renounce that reverend title. Renounce it, throw it away.

All you pastors out there who are calling yourselves reverends and whatever titles and standing at the forefront of Ghanaians telling us nonsense; trust me, I’ll come after you,” he added.
