Daniel Annor Walker, a former Great Olympics and Black Galaxies coach, has died at the age of 65.
Reports suggest that Daniel Annor Walker passed away after a short illness at his residence in Accra on Wednesday, 1 October 2025.
His coaching career spanned with stints at several Ghanaian clubs, including Nania FC, Kpando Hearts of Lions and Berekum Chelsea.
The late Daniel Annor Walker is the holder of a CAF Licence A certificate.
He was well noted with his prominence with Nania FC, where he served as assistant coach before taking over as head coach between 2005 and 2011 and winning the FA Cup with them.
Coach Annor Walker later handled the national team, the Black Galaxies, managing them to the 2023 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Algeria.
At the time of his passing, Coach Annor Walker was serving as Technical Advisor for Ghana Premier League side Vision FC.
His death has sent shockwaves through the Ghanaian football fraternity.
He was widely respected for his tactical discipline, resilience and immense contribution to Ghana’s local game.

Walker, who previously managed Great Olympics, FC Samartex and the Black Galaxies, was until his death serving as Technical Director of Vision FC.
