Sam George further went on to thank his partner, describing her as a wonderful partner, lover, mother, wife, but most importantly, friend.

“Thanks for being a wonderful partner, lover, mother, wife but most importantly friend. I loved you that first day, today, tomorrow and every tomorrow after. 🦁♥️”, his heartfelt tribute added.

Vera George is Sam George’s wife, and their marriage has been healthy and supportive for more than ten years.

Sam George and his wife marked their tenth wedding anniversary in August 2022. They have three children.

Sam George has frequently described his wife as “best friend, mother of my kids, wife of my youth, and personal Ayigbe Toffee.”

Also, Sam George, in an old video in 2022 on the Delay Show, revealed his wife is an entomologist, but at the moment, she is a stay-at-home mum looking after their three kids.

In addition, it will be recalled that Sam George, during his vetting as Communications Minister, revealed that his wife takes care of him.

According to Sam George, his wife, Vera George, is his secondary source of income and takes care of him.

This came up after Afenyo Markin questioned Sam George during his vetting about his source of funding for his UK study program.

Here is a narration of what ensued between the two:

Afenyo Markin: The period you became a member of parliament, you were not doing any other business, you were solely dependent on your salary, correct?

Sam George: Yes, Mr Chairman, as my primary source of income.

Afenyo Markin: Did you have the benefit of any secondary source of Income?

Sam George: Mr Chairman, I am married to a very industrious woman.

Afenyo Markin: I don’t get it. Please explain to us what exactly you mean.

Sam George: I mean, my wife takes care of me.

Afenyo Markin: an industrious woman who takes care of you, are you suggesting that she also paid your school fees for your UK program?

Sam George: Mr Chairman, I believe this committee has asked me to furnish them with records of the fees that I paid. I don’t see where we are going with this.

Afenyo Markin: If the Chairman allows my questions, I will follow up based on what you said. I never asked your wife, and I didn’t ask you about her business. You said your wife takes care of you; these are your words. Are you aware that your wife, through her industry, has been paying her taxes?

The monies that your wife gives you, which you say is your second source of income, do you pay taxes on them?

Sam George: Mr Chairman, I have no point in time before this committee, and I said that my wife gives me money. I have no point in time, made that claim, my claim before this committee is that my wife takes care of me, and I didn’t say he gives me money.
