Paul Adom-Otchere, the former Board Chairman of the Ghana Airports Company Limited, has returned home to his family after meeting the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) revised bail conditions.
The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) announced that they have accepted the revised bail conditions proposed by Paul Adom Otchere’s legal team.
According to the OSP statement on X, the revised bail conditions meet the objectives of the original bail conditions.
The OSP added that Jospong Group of Companies is acting as surety for Paul Adom-Otchere.
In a post on X, the OSP wrote, “The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has accepted revised bail conditions proposed by legal counsel for Mr. Paul Adom-Otchere, former Board Chairman of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL).
The revised terms, which meet the objectives of the original bail conditions, have been secured by the Jospong Group of Companies, acting as surety.
The matter remains under active investigation by the OSP”.
In a viral video shared on social media, Adom Otchere was spotted at his residence with his wife and was later met with cheers from his children and loved ones.
Paul Adom-Otchere recounted the full experience with the Special Prosecutor, and was later served a male to eat.
According to Rosemary Beryl-Archer Otchere, his wife, she received calls from former president Akufo-Addo, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia expressing their concern.
Rosemary Beryl-Archer Otchere stated, “If not for this incident, I would not have known how many people had my number. Calls came in constantly. Nana Addo and Dr Bawumia called and expressed concern”.
In addition, Sammy Darko Appiah, the Director of Strategy, Research and Communication at the Office of the Special Prosecutor, has revealed that Paul Adom-Otchere is a key suspect in the OSP’s ongoing investigation into the GACL revenue.
According to Sammy Darko, the OSP has come across evidence that directly points to certain actions of Adom-Otchere as a board chairman that fall in line with the offences.
Speaking in an interview on TV3 New Day, Friday, August 1, 2025, Sammy Darko detailed, “The OSP has set the bail terms, Mr. Adom Otchere has not been able to meet the bail terms. Mr. Adom Otchere was invited to come to the OSP not as person of interest, he was invited to come as a suspect.
“He put out a letter, and those who have read the letter would see that the letter was directing him to come as a suspect because he is a key suspect in the investigation,” he stated.
“As far as the OSP is concerned, we have come across evidence that directly points to certain actions of Mr. Adom-Otchere as a board chairman that fall in line with the offences that we are allowed to investigate, and that is what we are investigating,” he added.
Meanwhile, Yvonne Nana Afriyie Opare, the managing director of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), has ended the scandalous revenue assurance contract with Evatex Logistics.
The information gathered suggests Evatex Logistics Limited, a company affiliated with SML, has been served with a termination letter on 28th July 2025.
According to reports, no payments have also been made to date to Evatex Logistics.
Evatex Logistics Ltd, a firm affiliated with Strategic Mobilisation Ghana Ltd (SML), was contracted by GACL to provide revenue assurance services in regard to cargo at Kotoka International Airport.
