“Your helicopter prophecy divination and sorcery” – Pastor tackles Prophet Roja

News“Your helicopter prophecy divination and sorcery” - Pastor tackles Prophet Roja

A Ghanaian pastor has tackled Samuel Henry, popularly known as Prophet Roja, over his prophecy about the helicopter crash.

According to the Ghanaian pastor, Prophet Roja’s helicopter prophecy is divination and sorcery.

He noted that a prophecy must have a way out, adding that one can stand and make statements and projections, and it will come to pass.

Speaking at a vigil on August 9, 2025, the pastor stated, “He [Roja] is not part of the prophetic and apostolic ministry. He doesn’t understand. Even in life, when you travel, some people will ask about your credentials if they want you to preach to them.

They’ll ask about your level of experience. But it’s only in Ghana that someone will just get up, go on social media, and make these kinds of statements”.

He added, “I don’t believe this is what the Lord revealed. It’s divination. I’m telling you that Roja man should be careful. He’s not mature at all. This is not prophecy. A prophecy must have a way out. This is what we call divination and sorcery. I can stand and make a statement, and I’ll make projections, and it will come to pass”.

His comments come after a viral video emerged of a self-acclaimed man of God, Samuel Henry, also known as Prophet Roja, who predicted the passing of the Defence Minister, Dr Omane Boahmah.

In the viral video, Prophet Roja stated, “Who is the minister for defence right now, Omane Boamah? Wherever he is, he should call me; I have a very deep message for him. So wherever Minister Omane Boamah is, when he sees this video, he should call me”.

“My name is Prophet Roja. When he sees this video, he should call me, and I will not say the message. Anyone close to the minister of defence should show him this video and let him call me”, he added.

In a separate video, Prophet Roja added, “God is speaking to me right now, on the 29th of July, 2025. Please record this. Let all Christians in Ghana pray. This is a conditional prophecy. What I am seeing is that there is going to be a plane crash. I see a plane mid-air, and then it suddenly crashes. When it crashes, the number of survivors is up to 25. It is travelling from Accra to Kumasi”.

Dr Omane Boamah and Dr Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, two cabinet members who passed away following a helicopter crash at Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region on Wednesday, August 6.

The helicopter was carrying eight individuals, including three crew members and five passengers, among them the ministers, a presidential staffer identified as Samuel Sarpong, and the ministers’ security detail.

Muniru Mohammed, Acting Deputy National Security Coordinator, and Samuel Aboagye, a former Parliamentary Candidate, and Samuel Sarpong, Vice Chairman of NDC, have all been confirmed dead.

The crew members are Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala, Flying Officer Manin Twum-Ampadu, and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah.

Meanwhile, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, the Leader of the Believers Worship Centre, has jabbed prophets, creating fear and panic over claims they foresaw the recent helicopter crash.

According to Adom Kyei-Duah, no more aircraft are going to crash in the country, declaring that the crash on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, would be the last.

According to Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, Ghanaians must not fall for these prophets.

Speaking to his congregation, the man of God stated, “People are saying another one will happen, and others will also die. I am stating it plainly, mark my words, this is the last one in Ghana”.

Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah added, “If you are a prophet, I destool you. If you are a Christian, this is your last warning: respect your God, respect your God.

Some of the ministers who died were Muslims. Have you heard what their people are saying? They give glory to Allah over what has happened. They have accepted the course of Allah”.

He added, “Christians must learn to respect themselves and also respect their Lord and Saviour Jesus. Enough is enough; this nonsense must stop”.

According to him, President John Mahama and his ministers must focus on governing the country and ignore prophecies from certain prophets.
